Why Crown Pavilions
Our Garden Rooms and Buildings are Made in the UK
A Crown Pavilion luxury garden room is a timber structure that’s been hand-built, in England, to permanent building standards, over-delivering on quality and workmanship both inside and out. Our team of garden room builders and specialists is also based in the UK, meaning help is readily available if you need to speak to someone.
Attention to Detail and No Expenses Spared
Our garden buildings are fully insulated, double-glazed and can be heated, just like a brick extension, with additional features like security alarms, plumbing, electricity and multimedia. Yet unlike a brick extension, the build of an outdoor room is relatively straightforward and planning permission is rarely required.
Marque of Excellence and Unrivalled Expertise
When it comes to creating the world’s finest garden rooms, Crown Pavilions is the undisputed market leader. The Crown Marque of Excellence means your deluxe garden room will remain the admired focal point of your garden for many years to come and a fabulous space that will impress your guests.

Do garden rooms add value?
A garden room provides both indoor and outdoor living space, counting towards the total area of your property, and can add significant value to your home. Read more about how garden rooms can add value.
What are the benefits of buying a garden room, rather than building one yourself?
Our craftsmen are certified by TRADA (Timber Research and Development Association), which means your garden building will be compliant and correct – from the timber sizing, insulation and joist spacing, through to ventilation, fixtures and fittings. The result is a residential grade living space with a life expectancy of 30-years.
Can you sleep in a garden room?
Yes. Many of our customers use their outdoor rooms as a guest bedroom or granny annexe, fully equipped with a bathroom. Just remember, if you are sleeping in your garden room you will need to comply with building regulations.
Can I install a toilet or shower in my garden room?
Absolutely. We can quote for the addition of a toilet and shower. This is a very popular garden room addition and saves you or your guests having to traipse through your house to use a bathroom.
Will I need a base for my garden room?
Yes. You will need to have a concrete base in place before we install your garden building. Our team will undertake a site survey before we build your garden room where we will assess whether a concrete base or ground screws will be most suitable.
How long will it take to install my garden room?
Installation time will depend on your chosen model, and whether it’s a large, medium or small garden room. The installation time frame for a typical medium sized standard garden room (5mx3.5m) is approximately 2-3 weeks.
How long will my garden room last?
All our garden rooms are built to exacting TRADA standards. We are known throughout the industry for going above and beyond in all aspects of our build quality. Our garden rooms come with a 10-year structural guarantee which covers rot, decay and structural integrity. Based on our experience, our garden rooms have a life expectancy of 30-years. All our accessories, including blinds, doors, door handles and heaters, come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
How much does a luxury garden room cost?
The cost of a Crown Pavilions luxury garden room will depend on your model of choice and size of the building. Please contact our team for more information or to discuss a quote.
Is installation included in your prices?
Yes. Delivery and installation of our garden rooms and other outdoor buildings are included in the price for all customers in mainland England and Wales. For any other locations, there is a travel surcharge for installation.
Can I have a totally bespoke space, like a corner garden room?
Yes. We offer the option for you to work alongside our sales team and TRADA certified designers to create a bespoke garden room tailored to your specific requirements. We have been designing and building customised garden pods, studios, lodges and other outdoor rooms for over a decade and have the process down to a fine art. You can view a selection of our made to measure garden rooms in our bespoke gallery.
How do I pay for my garden room?
Payment for your garden room is completed in stages and spread out over the project. Initially, you will be required to pay a 20% non-refundable deposit, which we use to begin building in our workshop. After that, we ask for three staged payments: 40% 10 weeks prior to the build, 35% five days into the project and 5% upon completion and exchange of keys.

We have five UK show sites where you can view our luxury garden rooms on display, including Longacres Garden Centre in Surrey, Alton Garden Centre in Essex and Bicester Avenue Garden Centre, Oxfordshire. Please visit our Show Sites page for more information.
How do I keep my garden room looking its best?
We recommend that you treat your timber garden room with a wood preserver every 2-3 years to keep it looking its best.
Are your garden rooms suitable for use in the winter?
Yes. All our garden rooms are designed by TRADA certified craftsmen using residential-grade insulation materials, and can be used all year round. We also offer a range of heating options for your insulated outdoor room, including panel heaters, air conditioning units and underfloor heating. Please note, you will need an electrician to run an armoured cable from your fuse box to your garden building for installation of different heating options.
Can you buy a luxury garden room for a property outside of the UK?
Yes. We can export our luxury outdoor rooms to all corners of the world, with happy customers across Europe, Switzerland, the Caribbean Islands, North Africa and the USA all recognising that our products are absolute perfection. Find out more about our international offering.
